Drag the slider below and watch the totallyHip logo in the popup window move. This is achieved without browser scripting (except to open the other window) and without recourse to Liveconnect or activeX.
This window must have focus.
They are ordinary Quicktime movies, so you can download them and open them in Quicktime Player and they will work just the same.
Theoretically any QuickTime container application can support this feature, but it requires that the controller code exposes references to the other movies running in the same container so that they can be targeted. Tribeworks' iShell supports this feature when you check the 'wired' checkbox in the QuickTime pane.
Alas at this time, Macromedia Director does not support this, which would be very useful for synchronising multiple QuickTime movies displayed on the stage at the same time.
